In this month of February our throughline focus is on creation-enjoying.  What better way to enjoy a school day than on the warm sunny slopes of a local ski hill.  For some this was the first time on skis or a snowboard.  For others it was another chance to enjoy the wonderful gifts of water in its solid form,  low coefficients of friction, gravitational forces, thermal energy from the sun, blue skies, friends and fresh air . . .

There were many smiles and there was much chatter.  And if you had listened carefully, the chatter, the edges carving the snow, the laughter and the other sounds coming from the hill may have sounded like a song.  A song of joy!

Psalm 65:8  “The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
