Anxiety Care in Anxious Times

Hosted by Heartisan Counselling & Psychotherapy in partnership with Edmonton Christian Schools

One of the predominant side effects of the COVID pandemic appears to be a kind of generalized anxiety that only intensifies the usual stressors that parents and children experience: academic, social, familial, and spiritual.  It can all begin to feel overwhelming.  If you are concerned that anxiety is negatively affecting your child, you are not alone.

This workshop is for parents who want to:

  1. increase their understanding of anxiety and its causes;
  2. support their kids in helpful and empathic ways; and
  3. learn some concrete and proven psychological and spiritual practices that will help alleviate anxiety.

Parents/Guardians, join us at Edmonton Christian Northeast School (5940 – 159 Avenue) at 7:30 on May 12th.
