DESCRIPTION:Attending this session is an important first step in the registration process. We want to ensure that ECS aligns with your family’s expectations\, as not all Christian schools are the same. This is a great opportunity to clarify any questions and understand how our mission and values resonate with your goals for education. \nLearn about our Christ-centered approach to education\, which aims to challenge students to play their role in God’s story. We’ll discuss our mission\, core values\, and unique program designed to support students’ academic\, spiritual\, and personal growth. You’ll also hear about the partnership between ECS families and the Edmonton Society for Christian Education (ESCE)\, which helps create a strong\, supportive community. \nReminder: Enrolment at ECS is not first-come\, first-served. Attending an information session is required before moving to Step 2 in the registration process. Regardless of whether you register with ECS on February 3rd or March 19th\, you will have the same opportunity for enrolment at ECS as all other newly registered students. \nAdditional Info:\nIf the session dates at one school don’t work for you\, you’re welcome to attend a session at the other school. DESCRIPTION:The Open House will be online (virtual) with an emphasis on Kindergarten and Grade 7.\nMeeting link: https://meet.google.com/rto-htys-wav <– Join at 6PM on March 4. \n\n\nYou also might be interested in viewing the West School Virtual Tour: Take a look inside the school.\n\nIMPORTANT: Please also refer to our registration process.  \nThe first step before registering with EPSB is to attend an Information Session.  This is not the same as the Open House. The information session will allow parents/guardians to learn more specifically about our Christian program\, our mission\, and the partnership and expectations between families and ECS\, allowing for families to ensure that ECS is a good fit for them. \nPlease visit our Admissions page for full details and to register for an Information Session. \n\nPrepare for the Virtual Open House\nYou will need to: \n\nset up your computer\, laptop or mobile device in a quiet area with few visual distractions\nconsider using one device if multiple family members are attending since every device used to join the event counts as one participant—sharing a device allows more people to join the event\nuse devices that are fully charged or plugged in\ncheck your microphone and camera ahead of time to avoid potential issues\n\nIf you don’t have a camera or microphone\, you can still join a virtual event to listen to the discussions. \nThe open house is hosted through Google Meet: \n\nyou must sign in to a Google account to attend the event\nGoogle no longer allows anonymous users (anyone who isn’t signed into a Google account) to attend a Meet to help prevent disruptions\nparents with children who are Division students can choose to sign in using their child’s @share.epsb.ca account
