Proceeds will support our current project\, The Creator’s Classroom\, which will revitalize the grounds surrounding our school in northeast Edmonton. Inspired by Psalm 24:1\, and emphasizing stewardship\, we aim to create an outdoor learning space that fosters imagination\, faith\, and environmental responsibility. \nDONATE TO THE AUCTION\nWe are currently collecting items and services to be auctioned off. We would be incredibly grateful if you would consider donating a new item or service to be included in our auction. Your donation will not only assist us in reaching our fundraising objective but will also greatly enhance the overall success of our event. You’ll also hear about the partnership between ECS families and the Edmonton Society for Christian Education (ESCE)\, which helps create a strong\, supportive community. \nReminder: Enrolment at ECS is not first-come\, first-served. Attending an information session is required before moving to Step 2 in the registration process. DESCRIPTION:Wîcihitowin (pronounced: wee-chih-hito-win) is a nehiyawewin/Cree term meaning “helping and supporting each other.” \nTruth and Reconciliation 101 Parent Information Night\nEdmonton Christian Schools invites you to join us in a night of learning and dialogue around Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous Knowledge Keepers\, Harold Roscher and Travis Enright. EPSB Indigenous Education Diversity Consultant Kate Holubowich will also be in attendance to lead a panel discussion.\nIt is our Deep Hope that together\, we remain committed to engaging in peaceful dialogue to deepen understanding\, challenge preconceived ideas\, identify biases\, and move toward reconciliation to restore right relationships with our Indigenous brothers and sisters. We will provide a safe and welcoming space for expanding our learning as a school community to collectively and actively play our role in truth and reconciliation. \nThe night will include bannock and soup\, as well as a panel discussion related to truth and reconciliation. Questions for the panel will come from our school community\, and our Indigenous Knowledge Keepers will respond to them.\nPlease note that this is an adult-only event. \nREGISTER HEREPlease indicate the number of adults from your family who will be attending so that we can prepare enough food.
